The Drinks Industry said Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks, Hophouse 13 and Harp will go up by 6 cent per pint on 3 February bringing pint prices to well over €6 and even beyond €7 in the capital.
Some publicans claim they weren't contacted by Diageo about a rise in the price of its draught products.
They say they got an email instead from the Vintners Federation of Ireland.
The company behind Guinness and other brands will increase the price of a pint by six cent from next month.
One local publican said the increase is "killing the trade" and that the hospitality industry is finding it hard enough "without another rise in drink costs".

They said once VAT, duty and the pub margin are added it will mean 30c extra for a pint “at the tap”.
Pat Crotty, Vintners’ Federation of Ireland CEO, said: “Publicans are being squeezed from every angle – rising energy costs, higher wages and government-imposed charges. This latest price increase from Diageo adds yet another layer of financial pressure on pubs already struggling to keep their doors open."
