Kildare Gardai have carried out patrols on commuter rail services from Heuston Station.
They were supported in the operation by the Garda Dog Unit and Irish Rail staff
Gardai say "further operation are planned for the month as travel restrictions are eased and train capacity increases. "
The Kildare Garda Division says the operations are aimed at preventing anti-social behaviour on trains and at stations, and to prevent and detect the use and transportation of drugs.
