Kildare's Bernard Durkan And Catherine Murphy Asked The Most Questions In The Dáil This Year

Kildare South TD Martin Heydon did not submit any questions this year

Two Kildare TDs have been reported to have asked the most parliamentary questions in the Dáil 2024 term, in a report from The Journal released this morning.

Fine Gael TD for Kildare North Bernard Durkan and former co-leader of the Social Democrats and current Kildare North TD Catherine Murphy were the top two TDs in the list, followed in third by People Before Profit TD Paul Murphy.

Bernard Durkan had 1,433 questions this year, focusing on social welfare queries for constituents and citizenship queries for constituents.

Catherine Murphy had 710 questions, relating to justice and health.

Kildare South TD Martin Heydon was also included, and was noted to have not asked any questions along with five other TDs.
