Kildare's 14 Day Covid 19 Incidence Rate Remains The Highest In Ireland.

The rate in the county is almost double the national figure.

Kildare's 14 day Covid 19 incidence rate is the highest in Ireland, for the second day.

564 people in the county were diagnosed with the virus in the two weeks to May 12th.

The rate here is 253.5 cases per 100,000 people.

The national rate is almost half that figure, at 129.3 cases per 100,000 people.

12,421 people in Kildare have been diagnosed with Covid 19 since testing began.

Over 7,500 of those diagnoses took place this year.
