Moone Woman In LA Says Homes Impacted By Fires Are Still Being Looted

She said people impacted by fires are also dealing with American insurance companies who have cancelled a lot of house insurance so "some people will never get their money back".

24 people are now confirmed dead following wildfires in California.

More than 14,000 firefighters continue to battle a number of blazes in the Los Angeles area.

Forecasters say incoming strong winds over the next 48 hours could see the embers reignite.

Kildare woman Tiffany Stanley, who moved to LA 12 years ago to pursue a modelling career, said looting is a big problem at the moment.

She said people impacted by fires are also dealing with American insurance companies who have cancelled a lot of house insurance so "some people will never get their money back".

Tiffany is one of thousands of people evacuated from her home in the Hollywood Hills.

She has since returned to her home but said looters are "going around now breaking into homes."
