It happened at Maryville.
Gardai are hunting up to 5 men, following a burglary in Kildare Town in the early hours of this morning.
Gardai say the gang burst in to the Maryville home, on the Melitta Road, at around 2am this morning.
They pushed in to the house past the householder, and damaged electrical goods and internal walls.
Gardai say this was a distressing and stressful incident for the householder.
