Students miss out on clubs, societies and a social life.

Students who are commuting miss out on 'huge aspects' of the college experience.

That's according to the President of TU Dublin, who says they miss out on the likes of clubs, societies and a social life.

Professor David Fitzpatrick told the Irish Times that students are commuting long distances rather than moving into digs.

University of Galway Student's Union President Sai Gujulla says its something they've seen more of in the last couple of years:
