The closing date for applications is Wednesday, May 1.
With the application deadline looming, just over a quarter of eligible local businesses have registered for the Increased Cost of Business Grant (ICOB) worth up to €5,000.
Despite government efforts to bolster economic support through the grant, the county has seen just 1,320 out of 4,980 eligible businesses applying for the grant, representing a 26.51% uptake.
The closing date for applications is Wednesday, May 1.
The grant, allocated €257 million in Budget 2024, aims to alleviate financial burdens on small and medium enterprises.
