House prices are up by 8 per cent in the past year.
The latest CSO figures for May of this year, show prices in Dublin went up by almost 9 per cent, and by almost 8 per cent outside Dublin.
A 6% increase in property prices was seen in Kildare, as well as in Louth, Meath and Wicklow.

The median price of a home in the year to May was €335,000.
The lowest median price of 169,500 euro was in Co Longford, and the highest of €626,000 was in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown in Dublin.
