A Kildare TD is reiterating calls for the extension of the DART to Kilcock.

Dart+ West proposes to extend the train service to all existing stations along the railway corridor between Maynooth Station and M3 Parkway Station, to Connolly Station.

While DART+ South West is seeking to optimise the existing railway between Hazelhatch & Celbridge Station to Heuston Station

The project timelines for both have been pushed back, and work may not begin until 2027.

Kildare North Social Democrat TD and Co-Leader Catherine Murphy says it doesn't make logistical sense that the line isn't extended.
