There are concerns around flooding in certain areas.

Kildare motorists have been advised to drive with caution as storm Babet to bring significant rainfall.

The entire country is under rainfall warnings today.

Cork, Kerry and Waterford will remain under a Status Orange alert until lunchtime, with significant rainfall already.

Yellow warnings are in place for the rest of the country until between 6 and 8 o'clock this evening.

There are concerns around flooding in certain areas, particularly in the south.
