Kildare Lighting Repairs Take Over A Month To Fix Once Reported, Longer If ESB Required

Local man, Pat Behan, said lights on Togher Road in Monasterevin have been out of action since the storm six weeks ago.

It takes a month or longer for lighting faults to be fixed in Kildare.

Once reported to the council's new contractor, four weeks is the average time but it can take even longer if ESB attendance is required.

Kfm recently spoke to a number of locals who highlighted lighting faults that have not been fixed for over six weeks, with some people telling us they have had to carry torches while out walking in the evening.

Local man, Pat Behan, said lights on Togher Road in Monasterevin have been out of action since the storm six weeks ago.

He said up to 12 streetlights were impacted.
