Kildare GP Says People Should "Keep Calm & Carry On" As County Records Ireland's Highest Covid Incidence Rate.

Dr. Brendan O'Shea says "this is no time for catastrophizing"

Kildare has replaced Donegal with the highest incidence rate of Covid 19.

The county has 251 cases per 100,000 people while Donegal has 240.

The Donegal incidence rate has fallen by 21 percent in the last seven days.

Kildare's incidence rate is almost twice the state's figure

Newbridge GP, and Communications Lead for Kildare Faculty of the ICGP, Dr. Brendan O’Shea, says people in the county need to be vigilant, but should "keep calm and carry on"

12,383 people in Co. Kildare have been diagnosed with Covid-19, since testing began, following 35 new cases confirmed, last night

Over 7,500 of these diagnoses have occurred since New Year's Day.

These people in Naas aren't overly concerned about the high rates.
