Kildare Gardai are issuing a warning to parents about jellies containing cannabis.
Last week, two young children were hospitalised in Dublin after eating sweets which may have contained the drug.
Last month, the Food Safety Authority issued a warning about the dangers of eating edible cannabis products like jellies.
That warning was issued after several teenagers ended up in hospital after consuming them.
Garda Seán O'Mahoney is stationed at Athy Garda Station and has been speaking to Kildare Today.
Gardai say the jellies "are being discovered in Drug searches across the country more frequently. The major worry about these is that by the appearance of them the look like a normal packet of sweets and are attractive to young children.
