Kildare County Council To Review Speed Limits On Intel Feeder Route.

It follows calls for a 30pkh speed limit outside Confey Cemetery.

The speed limit outside a Leixlip cemetery is to be reviewed, as the road is an Intel feeder route.

Its the stretch of road outside Confey Cemetery, opposite the area's GAA club.

Kildare County Council says its Municipal District Office will liais on the matter with the Traffic Management section ahead of the next MD meeting in June.

Fine Gael Cllr. Joe Neville submitted the motion - he wants the limit there cut from 50pkh.

Cllr. Neville joined Ciara Noble on Friday's edition of the programme, and discussed his motions before the May meeting of the Celbridge/Leixlip MD.
