It provided the update at the recent Naas MD meeting.
Kildare County Council has confirmed that it has received a revised programme of works from the contractor working on the construction of the new library in Naas.
May 2023 has been flagged as the new date for handover of the building.
Responding to a question asked by Cllr Bill Clear at the recent Naas MD meeting, the Council also said that "allowing for no further delays and time for snagging, IT and furniture installation, the move from the current location and the stocking of shelves, we are aiming for the library to open to the public in Summer 2023."
