Kildare County Council "Aware" Of Issues With Water Supply At St Conleth's Cemetery In Newbridge

In a statement to Kfm, Kildare County Council says “it is progressing a solution with Uisce Eireann”

Kildare County Council says it is “aware of the issues with the water supply at St. Conleth’s Cemetery in Newbridge”.

Locals in the area are growing increasingly frustrated at having to bring their own water supply to the cemetery to water flowers on loved ones’ graves.

The taps and toilets in the cemetery are currently not in operation.

In a statement to Kfm, Kildare County Council says “it is progressing a solution with Uisce Eireann”.

On this morning’s Kildare Today programme, Patricia, whose husband is buried in St Conleth’s Cemetery says this issue has been going on for quite some time.
