It was agreed at a special Athy MD meeting today
At a special meeting of the Athy Municipal District today, Councillors have agreed that parking in the following Kildare County Council car parks will be free from 2-6pm daily over the festive period.
- Edmund Square car park, Athy
- Back Square car park, Athy
- Meeting Lane car park, Athy
- Church Road car park, Athy
- Catherine McCauley car park, Athy
- Barrow View car park, Athy
- Augustus Bridge car park, AthY
The free parking will run until 8.30am on the 3rd of January.
Illegal parking laws will continue to be enforced as normal in all car parks.
Standard parking fees will remain at all other locations.
