Kildare Among Six Counties With No Road Deaths So Far This Year

To date, 60 people have died in traffic incidents across the country, down from 68 at this point in 2024.

Kildare is one of six counties in Ireland that have not recorded a fatal road crash so far this year.

The number of deaths on Irish roads has fallen by 12.5% compared to the same period last year.

To date, 60 people have died in traffic incidents across the country, down from 68 at this point in 2024. 

The latest analysis by road safety advocacy group Parc shows that fatal crashes have occurred in 20 counties – an increase of three counties since March 1.

Kildare, Clare, Longford, Louth, Monaghan, and Wicklow are among the counties that have recorded no road deaths this year.
