KCC Won't Be Closing Kerdiffstown Ramp In Sallins Until A Proper Traffic Management Plan Is In Place

The news has been welcomed by local reps

Kildare County Council has confirmed that it will not be proceeding with the Section 38 to close the Kerdiffstown Ramp in Sallins at this present time.

The Council have told local councillors that until a proper traffic management plan for the area is in place, the ramp will not be closed.

Kfm previously reported how there was a mixed reaction among local residents and business owners, with almost 800 submissions made to Kildare County Council.

Fianna Fail Cllr. Carmel Kelly says she believes it is the "correct decision and that a closure without a safe alternative for all road users would be premature".
