KCC Asked To Detail Number Of Childcare Facilities Approved In County MD.

The local authority is also being asked to state whether any developers have asked to remove creches from their under-construction projects.

Kildare County Council is being asked to detail the number of childcare facilties granted approval in a county MD over the last two years.

Its will specific reference to permission granted to housing estates which include such facilities.

KCC is being asked to detail whether work has begun on developements - and "those which have sought to remove this as part of the development"

The motion, by Social Democrats Cllr., Aidan Farrelly, will come before the May meeting of the Clane Municipal District for debate on Friday.
