Pockets of Kildare South have been experiencing issues with water discolouration, taste and limescale.
During a meeting with Fine Gael Minister Martin Heydon and Councillor Tracey O’Dwyer, Irish Water agreed to re-examine the closure of the Srowland Plant back in 2019.
The water utility also confirmed refresher training has been carried out with Kildare County Council engineering staff, in identifying water quality issues.
