Ireland has the fourth lowest employment rate among people with a disability in the EU, according new research by the ESRI.
It also highlights that people with a disability in Ireland are more than twice as likely to experience poverty and deprivation than those without.
The findings also show 30 percent of adults with a disability have a third-level education, compared to 47 percent of those without.
