HSE Boss Pledges Talks With Harvey Morrison’s Family When They Are Ready

Separately, Kfm recently highlighted how a young Monasterevin boy with spina bifida has been left waiting 18 months for follow-up assessment appointments to monitor his condition - despite being told the wait would be just one year.

The head of the HSE says he'll meet with the family of Harvey Morrison Sherratt at a time of their choosing.

The health service is carrying out a review into the care of the nine-year-old boy who died last month after waiting years for spinal surgery.

CEO of the HSE, Bernard Gloster, says he wants to speak with Harvey's family, but they must be allowed the space to grieve first.

His mother attended the funeral of Harvey Morrison.

Lisa Brett explained how she is already expecting "a fight" when her son does need possible surgery down the line.
