Houses Prices On The Border Of Dublin, Including Co. Kildare, Increased By 15.3% In The Year To August

CSO Property Price Index

The rate at which Ireland's residential property price has been increasing, has reduced.

Prices increased by 12.2% in the year to August - a decrease from 13.3% for the 12 months to July.

The CSO Property Price Index published today shows the cost of a buying a home in Dublin increased by 9.7%, in the year to August.

Houses on the border of Dublin, including Co Kildare, increased by 15.3% in the same period.

Nationally, the median price of a home bought in the 12 months to August 2022 was €295,100.

The lowest median price paid for a home was €149,500 in Co. Longford, while the highest was €615,000 in Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown.
