Anne Marie Blessing, who is part of the Castletown Residents' Association, told Kfm that she was initially surprised that the meetings were being held separately but "hopefully " everyone has an opportunity to get their points across.
Speaking ahead of their meeting at 3.30pm today, Fifi Smith from Friends of Castletown said she is "hopeful" but not optimistic.
Meanwhile, the Save Castletown Committee will launch High Court proceedings today in an attempt to restore public access to the historic Castletown House lands.
The Save Castletown Committee is bringing the case to challenge the legality of a local landowner’s actions in blocking access to Gay’s Avenue.
Castletown House, an architectural landmark and public amenity, remains partially inaccessible to the public due to ongoing land access disputes.
