October figures show more than 5,200 children in emergency accommodation, with numbers rising in Kildare.
More than 16,700 people are in emergency accommodation.
October's figure of 16,766 is another record high.
The figures include over 5,200 children.
In October there were 179 homeless people in Kildare, up from 173 in September.
