HIV Ireland has partnered with the HSE to offer free syphilis testing for gay and bisexual men in Dublin on Thursdays.
It says there's a range of symptoms associated with the disease, but different signs develop for different people.

The health service is worried there's a large amount of undiagnosed cases.
