HIQA has published inspection reports on three Kildare nursing homes.
Assessments were conducted on Willowbrook Nursing Home on January 27th, at Ashley Lodge Nursing Home on March 12th and at Shalom Nursing Home on March 11th.

Willowbrook was assessed on 9 regulations under the headings of "capacity and capability" and "quality and safety".
It was deemed not compliant with 7 regulations.
Ashley Lodge Nursing Home was inspected on 19 standards - it was compliant on 11, substantially so on 7 and not compliant on 1
13 standards were inspected at Shalom Nursing Home, where compliance was found on 6.
It was substantially compliant on 5, and not compliant on 2.
HIQA and nursing home operators have engaged since the completion of the assessments, and compliance plans have been developed.
