Health Minister Refuses To Give New Date For Completion Of National Children's Hospital

In recent days, she has been critical of BAM, the project’s main contractor headquartered in Kill.

The Minister for Health is refusing to give a new date for the completion of the National Children's Hospital.

It's reported it's been delayed by a further two months, to be completed by the end of November.

The 15th delay to the 2.2 billion euro project would make it unlikely for patients to be admitted to the building before autumn of next year.

Health Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill says she would very much like to have early access to the hospital now.

In recent days, she has been critical of BAM, the project’s main contractor headquartered in Kill.
