Hauliers Threatening To Bring Dublin City To "Stand Still" Tomorrow - Protesting Fuel Costs

Previously effected Kildare's M7 & M4 motorways

Some hauliers are threatening to bring Dublin city to "a stand still" tomorrow, in protest over rising fuel prices.

The self-styled 'People Of Ireland Against Fuel Prices' says the high costs has left many in crisis and are demanding government do more to help.

However representative bodies for the haulage sector are distancing themselves from the rally.

President of the Road Haulage Association, Eugene Drennan, says its focus is in the wrong place:
