There's been some good news for locals looking for a caffeine fix during their walks at Kerdiffstown Park.
A tender is expected to be issued this year for a coffee shop style service.
Speaking to Kfm, Cllr Evie Sammon said the council is currently preparing the tender, with hopes that food and coffee will be served in the park at some point this year.
She said interest in establishing the service has been high, with several local individuals expressing enthusiasm for setting up a coffee stall or cafe within the park.
The new public park includes 3 full-size all-weather pitches, a playground, paths and walking trails.
