Gardai are investigating after a picture of Kildare North TD James Lawless on the front of his Naas constituency office was spray painted with the words, Speak up for Palestine.
Speaking on KIldare Today, Lawless said it is a criminal incident.
He said he has seen CCTV footage of two males on bikes spraying across an image of his face with red spray.
He said his office is a place for locals to visit and discuss issues and that these incidents are alarming for locals who may be in his office at the time.
He said he respects peaceful protest but not criminal damage.
