Gardai Crack Down On Drivers Putting Children's Safety At Risk By Breaking Red Lights In Sallins

Gardaí have issued numerous Fixed Charge Penalty Notices (FCPNs) to motorists caught breaking red lights.

Children crossing the road to school in Sallins face danger from drivers breaking red lights, raising concerns among local families. 

The pedestrian crossing, used daily by schoolchildren, has become a safety risk due to motorists ignoring traffic signals.

Naas Community Gardaí stepped up enforcement at the busy pedestrian crossing in Sallins following concerns from local residents.

Gardaí have issued numerous Fixed Charge Penalty Notices (FCPNs) to motorists caught breaking red lights.

Drivers were also penalised for using mobile phones while driving. 

Gardaí have pledged to maintain a strong presence to ensure community safety, reminding all road users: “If you break it, we’ll enforce it.”
