At the Ballymany Mews estate
During a property search in Newbridge yesterday, a Garda was struck with a steel pole.
The house was being searched due to a drugs warrant & the garda was struck in the knee by one of the suspects.
€6,000 worth of amphetamines were found at the property.
The incident happened at approximately 6pm, in the Ballymany Mews estate in the town.
The suspect, in his 40s, is due to appear in Naas District court today.
Investigations are ongoing.
