Kildare Newbridge Social Democrats Cllr., Chris Pender, says "The projects are diverse and target a variety of groups including Homeless People, New Irish, residents of Direct Provision Centres, and the elderly who have experienced isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic." This funding will build on the excellent projects completed last year, as well as assist our public libraries in their role as community hubs in fostering community well-being and building community cohesion."
