Estate Of €11 million Left By Straffan Tech Founder Killed In Helicopter Crash

Mr Crosby, originally from Straffan and living in Glenageary in Wicklow, was fulfilling a lifelong dream of flying when tragedy struck on July 30th.

A software millionaire from Straffan who died in a helicopter crash in Westmeath last year has left more than €11 million in his will.

46-year-old Niall Michael Crosby, founder of the London-based tech company AG Grid, left an estate valued at over €11.5 million. 

In his 2018 will, he appointed his wife Jillian as sole executor and left his entire estate in trust to her, according to the Irish Independent.

Mr Crosby, originally from Straffan and living in Glenageary in Wicklow, was fulfilling a lifelong dream of flying when tragedy struck on July 30th. 

His helicopter crashed onto the roof of a piggery near Killucan, killing him and Czech flight instructor Antonín Kabelka.
