Trade and exports are the main factors behind a projection for the Irish economy to growth by 11 percent, according to the ESRI.
The think-tank has revised its forecasts from earlier this year, where it predicted economic growth to be at around 5 percent.
The vaccine rollout and subsequent reopening is also expected to provide a boost in consumption.
