Eleven 'The Health Store' Outlets in Kildare, Wicklow, And Dublin To Be Liquidated

The stores, one of which is located in Newbridge, have been losing money for years.

The High Court has appointed provisional liquidators to 11 health shops in Kildare, Wicklow and Dublin.

The businesses include ten stores under 'The Health Food Store' brand and one GNC store.

The parent company, which had been supporting them with loans, decided to withdraw financial support after concluding the businesses couldn't become profitable.

Mr. Justice Liam Kennedy appointed Nicholas O’Dwyer and John Boland of Grant Thornton as joint provisional liquidators, deeming it in the best interest of stakeholders.

The liquidators will manage the winding-up process, securing stock and liaising with potential buyers.

The case will return to court later this month.
