The ordeal left the gentleman shaken.
A pensioner was ambushed in the Old Connell area of Newbridge on Wednesday, March 28th, at around 5 pm.
He had just collected his pension before being set upon by two women who forcefully stole it from him.
The victim described one of the assailants as approximately 5’7” tall, clad in a black jacket adorned with silver buttons.
The second female, of similar height, had fair hair and wore a brown jacket.
The ordeal left the gentleman shaken.
