Naas Roads Policing Unit encountered the driver during a speed check near the Straffan Road.
The motorist was stopped, and indications for cannabis were returned during a drugs test.
Their car, untaxed for 214 days, was impounded.
Naas Roads Policing Unit were conducting speed checks near the Straffan Road when they stopped this driver. They tested positive for cannabis and were arrested. Their car as also seized when it was found it had no tax for 214 days.
