RTÉ investigates has revealed, the allegations relate to the conduct of Dr Pathmadevan Rathnam.
A doctor who sexually assaulted two young men at Naas General Hospital where he worked later fled Ireland, it has been revealed.
According to RTÉ Investigates, Dr Pathmadevan Rathnam was removed from the Irish Medical Register in 2015 after two patients alleged they were sexually assaulted by him.
Dr Rathnam was later found guilty of professional misconduct by the Irish Medical Council after Naas General Hospital received a complaint from a male minor in late February 2011.
The patient said that the doctor had inappropriately touched him in the genital area while at the hospital.
In early March 2011, a 19-year-old male made a similar report, alleging Dr Rathnam had sexually assaulted him on six occasions.
Naas General Hospital has apologised for the way it treated both patients who alleged they were sexually assaulted by Dr Rathnam.
