Kfm has seen an image of specialist forensic cleaners in the area.
A wooded area in Ryevale Lawns in Leixlip where children play is reportedly being used as an open-air toilet.
According to locals, a specialist cleaning service was called to the estate last week and removed up to four bags of human waste from Squirrel Wood.
The wood is located adjacent to Ryevale House, which is currently housing international protection applicants.

Cllr Joe Neville said he toured the area with a member of Kildare County Council's Park's team last Wednesday morning.
He said there was toilet paper and faecal matter in a number of spots in the area.
He said he asked the council to take a sample to confirm it is human excrement.
"This is a wooded area where kids play. Locals are very concerned."
Kfm has contacted the owner/operator of Ryevale House for comment.
Specifically, we asked for clarification on whether there were adequate/enough toilet facilities at the site.
