An appeal against the refusal of planning permission for a wind farm in Kildare has been submitted to An Bord Pleanala.
Kildare County Council, in March, refused permission for the project to applicant, Ummeras Wind Farm Limited.
The firm sought 10 year leave for 5 wind turbines, with a tip height of up to 169 metres, in the townlands of Ummeras Beg , Coolatogher Mullaghroe Lower , Ummeras More and Coolsickin/Quinsborough.
ABP is scheduled to issue its decision on August 17th.
