The Children’s Rights Alliance has released its Annual Report.

Excluding students from class is one of the most serious human rights issues impacting Irish children.

That’s according to the Children’s Rights Alliance Annual Report which is calling on the Department of Education to require schools to notify Tusla when they put children on a reduced time table.

The report also points to a “clear gap in public awareness” where parents were unsure where to report issues they had with their child’s education.

Policy Manager with the Children’s Rights Alliance Julie Ahearn joined Eoin Beatty on Wednesday's edition of Kildare Today.
