Almost €100,000 in counterfeit currency has been seized in recent days, following searches in Counties Kildare, Laois and Offaly.
€94,000 in all denominations was discovered in the course of one search.
A 20 year old woman was arrested at the scene and released without charge, with a file being prepared for the DPP.
€5,000 in counterfeit cash was also seized and a 21 year old man was arrested.
He was later charged and was remanded in custody.
