Just one of the three cars stolen has been recovered.
Gardaí are investigating a series of connected house break-ins and car thefts in Leixlip which happened in the early hours of Monday morning.
Speaking to Kfm, Garda JohnJoe O' Connell said the first break-in occurred around 2.15am at Ryevale Lawns, where a house was entered and a white Volkswagen T-Roc, registration 241 KE 4138, was stolen.
Just ten minutes later, at 2.25am, another burglary was reported at Elton Court Estate.
The front door of the home was forced open.
Car keys were taken and a handbag was emptied.
Gardaí say a blue Ford Fiesta with the registration 171KE5348 was taken.
The third incident happened sometime between 2.00 and 3.20am at Glen Easton Crescent.
The occupants woke to find all the lights on downstairs.
A grey Hyundai Tucson was taken along with other personal items.
That car was later found in Blessington and is now undergoing a technical examination.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage from those areas to come forward.
