Fianna Fáil made the announcement today
Fianna Fáil have announced that Cllr for Clane-Maynooth MD Naoise Ó Cearúil has been chosen as a candidate for the party in the upcoming General Election for the Kildare North constituency.
"I am thrilled to continue my journey in public service by running for Dáil Éireann," said Cllr Ó Cearúil.
"With the support of my community, I am confident that we can achieve more together. My dedication to Kildare is stronger than ever, and I am committed to representing our values and interests at the national level".
“The Government announced an ambitious Budget this week to support families and the future of our Country. I feel that I can advocate louder for the needs of people in Kildare. From childcare and school places, the need for a resolution to the continued issues in Castletown, the LAP in Maynooth, the revitalization of Leixlip main street and additional supports for those with disabilities, the time is now for a dynamic and energetic new TD".
Cllr Ó Cearúil is also on the ticket with Minister of State at the Department of Transport and at the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications and Kildare North TD James Lawless.
