Cllr. Fears KCC May Have To Seek More Money To Complete Sallins By-Pass.

Cyclists and pedestrians have raised safety concerns.

A Naas councillor says Kildare County Council may have to apply for more funding to complete the Sallins by-pass.

The by-pass is part of the €110 million M7 up-grade project, and opened to traffic on April 19th.

It is, according to councillors, "perfect, more or less" for drivers.

However, cyclists and pedestrians have raised numerous saftety issues.

Social Democrats Cllr., Bill Clear, speaking to Kildare Today, says, clearly, the huge sum of money spent on the project "is not enough"

Cllr. Clear joined Clem Ryan on Monday's edition of the programme on all of his motions before the May meeting of the Naas Municipal District.
