Clane Woman Ends Hunger Strike, Citing Health Concerns

She has been on hunger strike since May 21st in an effort to get the Government to act on the war in Gaza, specifically around the Occupied Territories Bill.

Clane woman Sophie Ní Choimín has ended her hunger strike.

Taking to social media, she said: "My commitment to my family was that I would not put them through any more hurt than was completely necessary. I owe them a great debt for their trust in me."

She has been on hunger strike since May 21st in an effort to get the Government to act on the war in Gaza, specifically around the Occupied Territories Bill.

She recently told Kfm that her family was extremely concerned about her health.
